Adventure Club VBS - Set Design & Prop Elements
The bookstore set design and props were created for an annual Vacation Bible School hosted at LS Church in Alvin, TX.
Finished Stage Design
This is the initial concept I created in Blender so that I could get measurements for our construction team
More looks at the measurements from the blender model so we could scale it correctly
Set was build ahead of time and then setup on stage the week of the event
More set building, shelves, doors and balcony platform
The second layer was banners lit separately from the front set
Here is how we did the books, I Photoshoped an array of books and then printed them on decals, cut them in rows and then stuck them on wood panels that sat in the shelves
The solar system install was tough, we used bouncy balls and metal conduit pipe painted white
